Once J. R. Hicks said, his IS-LM schematism is the Generalized General Theory including Mr. Keynes' special theory. But the schema has its own stumbling block to make the best of two worlds. As a moral science, Mr. Keynes' has much richer world than the 'Classics', including Hicks'. In this world, mathematical elegance would not work so much as he said. |
