| 内容記述 | 第二言語としての英語の現在の状態は、文法訳読式教授法、コミュニケーションのための言語教育、そしてさまざまなその他の方法が雑多に混ざったものである。このレポートは言語学習に関する4つの重要な要素-つまり、言語形式に焦点をあてた投入法と内容重視の学習、場面や感情のコンテクスト、フロー理論、挑戦の重要性-について論じる。そして、コミュニケーションの方策、文法学習、世界的な問題に関する内容重視の指導のバランスをとりながら、これらの4つの要素がどのように効果的なオーラルコミュニケーションコースへの助けになるのかということについて述べる。 | |||||||

| 内容記述 | The current state of English as a Second Language is a mixed bag of grammartranslation, communicative language teaching, and various other methods. This report discusses four key elements for language learning : immersion and content-based learning with a focus on form, situational and emotional contexts, flow theory, and the importance of challenge. A description of how these four elements contribute to an effective Oral Communications course balancing communication strategies, a focus on grammar, and content-based instruction on global issues is given. | |||||||
