本研究では,日常的な時間管理場面における時間意識の違いがその後どのような結果をもたらすのかを検討した.実験の結果,"道具的(instrumental)時間意識"よりも"即自的(consummatory)時間意識"のほうが良い結果と関連していること,そして普段から時間管理がよくできると考えている被験者は即自的時間意識が高いことなどが明らかになり,意識の集中が日常場面で重要な役割を果たしていることが明らかとなった. |

The aim of the present study was to examine the effects of the time consciousness on human performance in everyday situations where time management was required. Results of two experiments showed that high performance was related to the "consummatory time consciousness", but not to the "instrumental time consciousness", and that subjects who thought they were able to manage time resources well tended to have the "consummatory time consciousness". The results suggested that the concentration of attention was related to high performance and good time management. |
